It was comfortable and attractive. People liked it because it was so plush and an interesting coffee brown. The adjustable arms are very nice, but the seat's height adjustment never felt like it went high enough (I'm over 6 feet).Even though it has a two year warranty, the pleather will not last that long if you use it daily (I do so for work). The material began to crack and flake on the arm within a year, and the seat began to wear off after a year. It was still usable, but looked awful and left little brown flakes everywhere. There is a cloth material under the pleather. Almost a year and a half later (bought in Nov. 2010, pitched in Mar. 2012) the hydraulic height adjustment would flatten out gradually from just sitting in it. I'm small in build and for me it fits to my back, arms, and height. The color is not something I'd buy typically, but because of the comfortableness and the softness of the fabric, the color is tolerable. I do wish there was a black in this chair, but unfortunately there is not, so the color has to be ignored over sturdiness and comfortableness. The cushion in the back of the chair fits to my lower back in just the right spot, and the arm rests are a great length to rest a major portion of the arm. This chair is soft, not stiff, and the fabric does not look cheap.The chair was very easy to put together, the directions were very clear and readable. There were arrows to say what direction the arm rests on and the metal middle part had to go.
