I've had this lamp for almost a year and I love it. The shade is pretty and I can move it around so that I can have the best reading light. I love the look, too. Very modern. The arm is made of plastic and doesn't hold when set at an angle. I liked the lamp so much that I returned and had the lamp exchanged 3 different times hoping that the next one would work well. Not the case. Every single lamp I was sent had broken plastic parts. It's a dang shame the lamp is a piece of crap because I really wanted it.
